New Phone Card Makes Talk Even Cheaper in Bahrain

A new prepaid international calling card that is said to offer the most competitive rates currently available in Bahrain has been launched on the market.

Launched by Bahrain-based Northstar Communications, the StarTalk card can be used by residents and visitors who have access to either a Batelco mobile phone or a landline. The StarTalk card uses VOIP (Voice Over Internet Prototcol) technology to offer the cheapest rates available in the market to over 200 countries, including India, the US and the Philippines, along with clarity and easy connectivity.

Northstar Communications Director Jubran Abdulrahman says: 'StarTalk brings a new entrant into what is a highly competitive marketplace. Northstar Communications is dedicated to ensuring that we offer the most competitive rates available in the market and are committed to ensuring that we lead the rest in terms of price, quality and availability.'

Operations manager Samuel Thomas says: 'Customers in Bahrain continue to benefit as more companies enter the prepaid international call card market. StarTalk has been designed to ensure that we always remain one of the best value-for-money propositions.'

The cards come in denominations of BD1, BD2, BD3, BD5, and BD10 and are available at most supermarkets and cold store outlets throughout the Bahrain Kingdom.
