Detroit Phone Card Chooses iTeknik Subsidiary TeleCents
Worldwide communication services Teknik Holdings Corporation is expanding its service, and now Detroit Phone Card is helping the cause by choosing its TeleCents Communication subsidiary to provide switching and termination services.
The agreement, which continues a long-standing relationship between companies, is estimated to generate at least $2 million in additional revenues.
According to Rami Chahine, CEO of Detroit Phone Card, TeleCents will be work with Detroit Phone Card on a new product offering involving international calling services. Chahine said that TeleCents was selected because of its competitive rates and the quality of its calling lines.
"TeleCents will help us reach the most diverse market that we have gone after in the 12 years since we have been in business," said Chahine. "We expect this new venture to generate considerable new revenues in the first year alone."
Detroit Phone Card generates approximately $30 million in revenues annually and offers a number of prepaid services along with nationwide prepaid wireless services called O-Mobile PCS and Get Mobile PCS.
“Over the past seven years that we have worked with TeleCents, we have found that they certainly stand behind their products and offer competitive calling rates,” said Chahine.
In addition, their integrated technology reduces issues of clarity and compression on the calling lines themselves. We look forward to growing our business exponentially with this agreement.
Jeffry Lauzon, CEO and founder of TeleCents, called the agreement "very lucrative” and says it has the “potential to be one of our largest customers to date."
“They have a long-standing brand of prepaid calling services and another emerging brand with O-Mobile PCS. We look forward to being an integral part of their new product offering and believe it will be a winner with the international audience," said Lauzon.
