New satellite in orbit for Dish Network

LONG BEACH, Calif. Sea Launch Co. has launched a new satellite for Dish Network Corp.

A rocket carrying the Echo Star 11 satellite lifted off Tuesday night from a Sea Launch Co. rocket platform in the Pacific Ocean.

Dish Network also disclosed Wednesday that the EchoStar 2 satellite, launched in 1996, failed Monday.
