Gotalk Hopes a Discount ADSL2+ Offering Would Help
DUBLIN, Ireland - Research and Markets has announced the addition of Telecorp Limited (gotalk) to their offering. This offer will transform the company's traditional phone card customers into online content users.
Telecorp is a communications company focused on the prepaid market, providing value-added services to both the consumer and business markets. The company was established in 2000 and has grown steadily through acquiring other businesses. Telecorp offers products and services to the market through three distinct market brands: CardCall, GOtalk and Global Card Services. Services offered include calling card services for the prepaid and postpaid markets, voice services, dial-up and broadband Internet services, as well as teleconferencing and messaging services. In March 2006 Telecorp acquired the SuperSaver phonecard, one of the first phonecards launched in Australia. By 2006, Telecorp's CardCall international phonecards were up to five times cheaper than Telstra's standard telephone charges. In September 2006 Telecorp was re-brand as "gotalk." In April 2007 GoTalk was hoping that a discount ADSL2+ offering would help transform its traditional phone-card customers into online content users.
