Belgacom cuts mobile Internet rates
Belgium's dominant telecommunications company Belgacom SA said Friday it is cutting its rates for mobile Internet via the high-speed 3G broadband network.
Starting this month, mobile Internet will see rate cuts of more than 40%.
With Mobile Internet, residential and professional customers have access to the Internet with their laptop and a data card or USB modem via the Proximus 3G network.
Customers can surf and consult their e-mails everywhere. Company employees have also access to company data and central files when they are on the move. Mobile Internet is also possible via a PDA, smartphone or mobile phone.
